Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer BEC Technologies, a fast-growing broadband networking & Cellular M2M solution provider is looking for a professional, energetic, self-starter to fill the position of Sales Engineer to be based in Richardson, TX area. This position is responsible for pre-sales & post-sales technical engagement with the customer, including product support, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pre-sales and post-sales product support of BEC’s FTTx, xDSL, 4G LTE fixed wireless, M2M/IoT and other BEC’s Cloud Management platform.
• Work and support customers to design network architecture and applications.
• Provide solution for field technical and configuration issues.
• Assist customer in network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Provide customer demonstration of the configuration of BEC products.
• Support regional sales team to complete successful product trials & evaluations.
• Perform technical training and education to customers.
• Travel to customer sites to support lab testing and/or field trials

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other equivalent experience
• 40% of domestic travel is required
• 5 or more years of product support experience in the computer networking industry
• Understanding of 3GPP protocols, specs and technologies (LTE, GSM, CDMA).
• Extensive knowledge of Telco, ISP and carriers’ networks, and operations
• Understanding of network technologies including xDSL, GPON, Active Ethernet, Wireless LAN, 4G LTE, and other networking technologies
• Excellent presentation and communication skills are required
• Working experience with telephone carriers or service provider (ILEC, CLEC, IOC, and ISP) is required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote and sell BEC’s WWAN/Cellular devices, Wireline Gateways and cloud solutions by the written & verbal presentation of BEC’s value proposition.
• Understand BEC’s products and services – how they are differentiated, priced, and competitively positioned
• Create product proposals that position BEC products as the best solution.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned accounts and/or region.
• Create a lead generation strategy and work with the marketing team to execute campaigns
• Participate in trade shows, customer or partner training/promotional events.
• Support regional VP and senior sales managers on achieving quarterly sales goals.
• Set and achieve sales targets and goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Inside Sales Representative

BEC Technologies, a fast-growing broadband & M2M networking equipment supplier is looking for a professional, energetic, self-starter to fill the position of inside sales representative in its Richardson TX office.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote and sell BEC products and services via cold calling and email communications
• Take inbound and make outbound sales calls to prospects and existing customers
• Attend trade shows and customer demonstration events
• Provide sales support to regional sales managers and senior sales managers
• Coordinate and handles all customer requests including order entry, pricing, forecast, billing, shipping confirmation etc.
• Assist the customer in the resolution of all issues
• Participate in sales calls and market development activities
• 20% traveling may be required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Channel Development Manager

Channel Development Manager

The Channel Development Manager works with existing and prospective partners in promoting and selling BEC’s wire-line and cellular connectivity solutions. The focus of partner development is about learning customer needs and understanding how BEC’s value proposition can address the business objectives, risks, and opportunities of our partners and their clients.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve sales revenue quota objectives consistently on a quarterly basis in support of regional growth objectives.
• Has a strong understanding of customer needs; uses customer feedback and leverages cross-functional team to improve sales/customer experience
• Takes ownership of difficult and demanding account situations that may impact the relationship with the customers and/or partners
• Addressing customer proposals, bids, RFP. RFI, quotes etc.
• Builds and maintains a strong working relationship within account set based on trust and respect and professional sales skills.
• Regularly visits and work closely with the partners to secure development
• Overcomes business, customer and competitive challenges.
• Works with marketing on developing effective campaigns, promotions, and incentives to consistently achieve business objectives and increase demand.
• Work closely with Channel, Partners, and marketing to ensure the effectiveness of the Channel Program
• Leading in setting up the quarterly and yearly business reviews with the partners

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS or higher in business, marketing, communications, and computer-related degrees.
• Minimum 10 years of channel sales experiences in telecom, enterprise, public or general IT industries.

• At least 5 years’ experience in working with VAR’s, MSP’s, ISV’s, SI’s, and IT distributors.

Director of Operations & Planning

Director of Operations & Planning

JOB OVERVIEW:

The main areas of focus for the Director of Operations & Planning is, to drive and oversee the production/logistics process according to forecasted demand and customer service requirements, to manage inventory/material planning and supply chain strategies. This position is also responsible for eectiveness and continuous improvement of quality control systems and internal procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages all activities associated with work orders, production schedules and ensures that actual production/productizing meets customer requirements.
• Controls various cost factors to ensure maximum utilization of available capacity and resources.
• Manages inventory and material planning according to demand forecast.
• Aged and excess inventory management
• Develop and oversee the QA & RMA systems to ensure all product quality and customer satisfaction levels are met
• Develop and coordinate daily & weekly capacity plan with operations, engineering, and sales teams based on demand to meet overall customer service requirements.
• Leads the complete integration of new planning systems to include forecasting, demand planning, inventory planning, and supply planning
• Drive the supply chain and operational initiatives to implement or recommend changes in procedures to reduce the operational costs.
• Close communication and coordinate with overseas suppliers/manufacturers to ensure seamless supply chain cycle and resolve any production, shortage or quality issues.
• Lead and resolve customer service issues with sales and customer service team.
• Oversees quality control system for all inbound & outbound shipments.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Experience:

• 10+ years of planning, operations, QA or production experiences with Supply Chain & customer service responsibility.
• 5+ years working experiences with overseas manufacturers and suppliers.

Language Skills:

• Fluency in English is a must.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Korean is a plus.
