DESCRIPTION:In 2016\, our conference theme will be Hybrid Infrastructure Supporting Smart Cities. We must consider planning and building infrastructure that supports our governments\, citizens\, schools\, healthcare\, and tourists in all areas of our communities. Our planning should include fiber as core infrastructure but be inclusive of how wireless technologies are a natural and necessary extension of fiber infrastructure serving our communities. We will explore:\n[checklist type=”dotted”] \n\nSmart City Infrastructure\nImpact of the Internet of Everything\nWireless/Wi-Fi Network Considerations\n“Smart” Broadband Planning\nNavigating Financing Options\n\n[/checklist]\nMountain Connect will feature a new addition to our conference activities: Dale Hatfield Open golf tournament. We will host this on Sunday\, June 5 at the Keystone Ranch Golf Club. Proceeds from this first annual golf tournament will support the Dale Hatfield Scholars Program at Silicon Flatirons Center for Law\, Technology\, and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado.
