DESCRIPTION:Ameren Innovation Day brings together technology providers and industry experts to showcase solutions supporting the modernization of electric utility operations. Hosted at Ameren’s headquarters in St. Louis\, the event will feature live technology demonstrations focused on grid modernization\, private wireless connectivity\, IoT\, asset monitoring\, field communications\, and other mission-critical utility applications. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with subject matter experts\, explore technologies designed to improve grid reliability\, resilience\, operational safety\, and efficiency\, and participate in discussions around Ameren’s evolving technology and infrastructure priorities.\n\nBEC Technologies will demonstrate its IllumaEdge SSLC-106M Smart Streetlight Controller operating over an Ericsson private LTE network using Anterix 900 MHz spectrum. The live demo will showcase remote streetlight control\, real-time status monitoring\, energy consumption\, and electrical performance through BECentral®\, illustrating how utilities can extend private LTE connectivity to streetlighting and other distributed grid infrastructure.
