The BEC AirConnect® 8243 5G High-Power mmWave Outdoor Router helps service providers expand fixed wireless access (FWA) with high-capacity connectivity and extended coverage. Delivering up to 48 dBm EIRP and supporting coverage distances of 7+ km, it enables operators to reach more homes and businesses and broaden their broadband service opportunities.*
Built on 3GPP Release 16 technology, the AirConnect® 8243 supports 5G Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) modes across mmWave and sub-6 GHz, alongside LTE Cat. 20. This network flexibility helps operators address different deployment requirements and support evolving 5G infrastructure.
Designed for demanding outdoor environments, the AirConnect® 8243 combines integrated high-gain antenna technology with an IP68-rated enclosure and industrial-grade components. BECentral® CloudEdge streamlines deployment and ongoing operations through zero-touch provisioning, remote configuration, performance monitoring, and proactive alerts—giving operators centralized visibility and control as deployments grow.
